The Brief
Titanworks offers high-end 3D design and printing services — complex mechanical parts, custom props, architectural models, bespoke product prototypes. The capability is genuinely impressive. The digital presence was non-existent.
Clients were coming entirely through word of mouth. There was no portfolio, no service information, no way to make an initial enquiry online. The business was invisible to anyone who didn't already know it existed.
Design Philosophy
The design language was drawn directly from technical drawing and engineering — precision, grid, measurement. The typography is monospaced where appropriate, the layout is structured and deliberate, the palette is industrial.
The goal was a site that immediately communicates technical competence. A manufacturer or product designer looking for a 3D printing partner needs to feel confident before they make contact. The design does that work.
The Portfolio
Building the initial portfolio was a significant part of the project. Each piece was photographed specifically for the site — raw prints alongside finished items, close-up detail shots to show resolution and finish quality, scale references to communicate size.
The CMS allows Titanworks to add new portfolio pieces directly, with support for galleries, material specifications, and production notes on each item.
Enquiry System
Custom 3D work is complex to quote — material choice, resolution, scale, finish, and turnaround all affect price significantly. The enquiry form was designed to capture enough information for a meaningful first response without requiring technical knowledge from the client.

Titanworks now has a professional platform that reflects the quality of the work. Inbound enquiries from the site now account for a meaningful proportion of new business — clients who found them through search or referral and converted because the site gave them confidence.
